Add SetOut to Claude or ChatGPT
Ask your assistant to plan your week or look back at the last months. It can read your calendars and tasks, add new ones, and change, complete, move or delete them in your own SetOut, once you allow it. Before any change it shows you the exact list and waits for your yes. There is no key to copy: you sign in to SetOut and choose Allow.
The address
https://www.setout.website/mcpClaude
- In Claude on the web or in the desktop app, open Customize, then Connectors.
- Select + Add, then Add custom connector. Name it SetOut, paste the address above and select Continue.
- Keep the sign-in settings Claude finds for SetOut and select Continue, then Add.
- Select Connect. A SetOut window opens: sign in, then choose Allow.
- In a chat, open +, then Connectors, turn SetOut on and ask, for example: “What is on my week?”
On Team and Enterprise, an owner first adds the connector in Organization settings, then Connectors.
In Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http setout https://www.setout.website/mcp
Codex
In the ChatGPT desktop app, Codex connects to SetOut as an MCP server:
- Open Settings, then Plugins, and the MCP tab.
- Select Add server and choose Streamable HTTP. Name it SetOut and paste the address above. Leave the bearer token field (MCP_BEARER_TOKEN) empty, then save.
- In the list of servers, select Authenticate next to SetOut. Sign in to SetOut in the window that opens, then choose Allow.
- Codex now appears in SetOut, in Settings, then Connected apps.
In the Codex CLI: codex mcp add setout --url https://www.setout.website/mcp, then codex mcp login setout to sign in.
ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, SetOut is a plugin you add yourself. Checked on Plus.
- Open the Plugins page, not Settings: in the ChatGPT desktop app, or chatgpt.com/plugins on the web.
- Select +, then Add custom MCP server. Name it SetOut and give it a description.
- Under Connection, choose Public endpoint and paste the address above. For authentication, choose OAuth.
- Select I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin. Sign in to SetOut in the window that opens, then choose Allow. ChatGPT now appears in SetOut, in Settings, then Connected apps.
- In a chat, type @ and choose SetOut.
Settings, then Plugins, and the MCP tab (Add server, or the Plugin Creator) connect SetOut to Codex only. For the chat, use + and Add custom MCP server on the Plugins page.
What it can do
- See your calendars.
- List the tasks of any days, and your Someday list.
- Read a task with its notes and subtasks.
- Read up to three months at once: tasks, tags, and the mood and note of each day when mood is on.
- Give the numbers of Statistics for any days, on Pro.
- Show your Google Calendar events, read-only: they are changed in Google Calendar.
- Create tasks, and change their title, date, time, length, tag or notes.
- Create a task with a list of subtasks, a checklist, and tick, rename or delete a subtask.
- Mark a task Skipped, one that did not happen, or take that back.
- Complete, move and delete tasks, and set the mood and note of a day, up to 50 changes at once.
- Show the exact list of changes first, and make them only after you say yes.
It works in the calendars you own, with the same rules as the app: on the free plan a second calendar stays read-only.
Disconnect
In SetOut, open Settings, then Connected apps, and select Disconnect next to the app. It loses access within a minute.
