SetOut — Terms of Service (DRAFT v0.1, 2026-09-06)

These terms are the agreement between you and Vladyslav Molodan, sole proprietor (FOP) registered in Ukraine ([FOP REGISTRATION NUMBER], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]; "SetOut", "we") for the use of the SetOut service at setout.website. By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read the Privacy Policy, which explains how your data is handled.

1. The service

SetOut is a weekly planner: tasks on a week grid, repeating tasks, reminders, a "Someday" list, a cards board, mood entries, optional read-only Google Calendar display, statistics, and additional calendars. We may change, add or remove features; if a change removes something you pay for, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of the current period.

2. Your account

You must be 16 or older. Keep your password private and tell us if you suspect your account is being used by someone else. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person, one account; you may create several calendars inside it.

3. Plans, trial and billing

Free. The week grid, the "Someday" list and one calendar are free for as long as you like.

Pro. Pro adds repeating tasks, reminders, guest calendars, the cards board, statistics and additional calendars. Pro costs $4.99 per month or $47.99 per year (both in US dollars; taxes are added or included by Paddle according to your country).

Trial. Every new account gets 14 days of Pro without entering a card. When the trial ends and you have not subscribed, the account returns to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted: content created with Pro features stays visible; what stops is creating new Pro-only items until you subscribe.

Billing by Paddle. Purchases are made from Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle's checkout, terms and refund policy apply to the payment itself; SetOut is the provider of the service. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled; for yearly plans we email you a reminder before renewal.

Cancelling. Cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription → Manage billing — one click, no questions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; you keep Pro until then. Refunds. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or the UK you may withdraw from a new purchase within 14 days; beyond that, Paddle's refund policy applies, and we will always refund a period in which the service was materially unavailable through our fault.

Price changes take effect at your next renewal and only after we have emailed you at least 30 days in advance.

4. Your content

Everything you put into SetOut is yours. You grant us only the licence needed to store, display and back it up so that the service works. You can export it at any time (Settings → Export) as a ZIP containing data.json, a readable README.html and CSV files, and you can delete it by deleting your account.

If you connect Google Calendar, you confirm you are entitled to use that calendar's data in SetOut. Google's data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy (read-only, Limited Use).

5. Acceptable use

Do not use SetOut to break the law, to store content that is illegal or infringes someone's rights, to attack the service or other users, to scrape it, or to create accounts automatically. To keep the service fast and fair, we apply technical limits (for example on how many items can be created per day and how many photos can be stored at once); ordinary use never reaches them. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service, after notice where reasonable, and we will let you export your data unless the law forbids it.

6. Availability and support

We work to keep SetOut available and to fix problems quickly, but we do not promise uninterrupted service; maintenance and outages happen. Support is by email at support@setout.website and through the in-app feedback thread.

7. Warranty and liability

SetOut is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury or fraud, and nothing takes away rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country of residence.

8. Ending the agreement

You can end it at any time by deleting your account. We can end it if you materially breach these terms, if we discontinue the service (with at least 30 days' notice and a refund of any unused paid period), or where the law requires.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give at least 14 days' notice by email or in the app; continuing to use SetOut after that date means you accept the new terms. If you do not, delete your account before they take effect.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts. We prefer to resolve issues directly — write to us first.
